Dealing with any illness and its treatment can be expensive, so it is very important for patients to know their reimbursement rights and options. Schering's COMMITMENT TO CARE® is Schering Oncology/Biotech's drug reimbursement assistance program for all eligible patients taking either PEG-INTRON® (peginterferon alfa-2b) Powder for Injection therapy, REBETRON® Combination Therapy containing REBETOL® (Ribavirin, USP) Capsules and INTRON® A (Interferon alfa-2b, recombinant) Injection, or INTRON A (Interferon alfa-2b, recombinant) for Injection therapy, whether they enroll in The Be In Charge® support program or not. Since its inception in September 1995, COMMITMENT TO CARE® has helped over 55,000 patients by providing reimbursement assistance for their medication.
