PEG-INTRON® is indicated for use alone or in combination with REBETOL (Ribavirin, USP) Capsules for the treatment of chronic hepatitis C virus in patients at least 18 years of age with compensated liver disease who have not been previously treated with interferon alpha.

The PEG-INTRON® REDIPEN™ is a disposable one-time use delivery system that allows you to administer PEG-INTRON® in three easy steps:

Mixing occurs by pushing down on the pen to combine the PEG-INTRON powder with sterile water, both stored in the pen

Dialing allows you to accurately select your predetermined individualized weight-based dose by turning the dosing button until the dosing button aligns with the dosing tab's solid line.

Delivery occurs by pushing the dosing button completely and holding for five seconds. The five-second period helps ensure that you inject the proper amount of medication.
